Austrocylindropuntia cylindrica is a flowering plant in the cactus family. The plant is native to Ecuador between 2400 and 3000 meters above sea level. It is an ornamental plant throughout the world.

It is a shrub or tree that reaches up to 4.2 meters in height. The leaves are shaped like a punch and have 2 to 8 spines, 1 centimeter each. The flowers are red.
