Rubus adenophorus, commonly known as xian mao mei in China (仙毛梅[proper translation?] in Chinese), is a species of raspberry in the Rubus genus found in forests and mountains in East Asia and Central China.

R. adenophorus is a deciduous shrub that grows to 2.5 meters. It flowers from May to June, and seeds ripen from July to August. The fruit is 10 mm in diameter.

Cultivation and usesEdit

Due to being a raspberry plant, this plant has been cultivated, and has many uses. The fruit is eaten raw or cooked. A purple dye is made from the fruit as well.
